CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A fire broke out overnight Friday inside a retirement community in Clayton.
Two homes were damaged with one of them completely destroyed. Both women who live there made it out and were uninjured.
The fire chief informed Eyewitness News that a preliminary investigation indicated the fire likely started on the back porch.
This remains under investigation. The cause has not been determined yet.
