JACKSON TWP. — Two inmates at the State Correctional Institution at Dallas, Jackson Township, are facing charges in separate attacks involving make-shift weapons, the Pennsylvania State Police at Wilkes-Barre reported Thursday. • Aug. 15: A fight erupted in F-Block involving inmate Gabriel Garofalo, 26, armed with a shiv, when he allegedly attacked inmate Montague West, 58. Garofalo stabbed West several times before West was able to grab Garofalo’s hand, state police reported. A corrections’ officer recovered a 7 3/4-inch bolt filed to a point and wrapped with a cord after the alleged attack. Garofalo is facing assault by prisoner, inmate in possession of a weapon and related offenses. • April 20: A fight broke out in J-Block involving inmates Dominique Baines, 33, and Shaquan McIntyre
