ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s football team kicks off its 2025 season under the lights Saturday night against New Mexico – a program with a new head coach for a third-straight season and FBS-most 75 newcomers on the roster.

Meanwhile, the Wolverines ended 2024 on a three-game win streak, which included wins over top-10 opponents Ohio State and Alabama.

The team’s late-season surge combined with the addition of the sixth-ranked recruiting class in the country has raised expectations for Sherrone Moore’s program.
