LIBERTY CENTER, Ohio — The Liberty Center football team is kicking off its season with expanded seating, thanks to portable bleachers rented from the Henry County Fair Board.
The district's athletic director, Kaleb Pohlman, said the department has been exploring ways to accommodate more fans. The new bleachers add approximately 700 seats to the stadium and are positioned near each end zone, providing spectators with unique vantage points.
"It's incredible to have partners in our community that are willing to let us try these things," Pohlman said. "It's also a blessing to know we have a community that supports our student-athletes. When we keep filling up these stands, we're going to find ways to get people in the seats and give them a great view of the game."
