CLEVELAND — A man was apprehended by police after shooting target practice with a firearm in his backyard, Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan of University Heights said Sunday.
According to a social media post from University Heights City Hall, police from neighboring Shaker Heights — assisted by University Heights and other surrounding agencies — responded to a home on Fairmount Boulevard after bullets allegedly damaged a property on Hadleigh Road.
The man, who was not identified in the mayor's statement, was taken into the custody of the Shaker Heights Police Department.
The mayor added that no injuries were reported.
