The No. 2/4 Tennessee soccer team posted its fifth straight shutout win after topping Western Carolina, 3-0.

Throughout the five-match span to start the season, UT has outscored its opponents 18-0. Additionally, the 5-0-0 start from the Lady Vols marks the best start in the Joe Kirt era.

Keaton Mitchell, Reese Mattern and Jenna Stayart each found the back of the net for the Lady Vols. Mitchell's goal marked the first of her career while Mattern's was her first of the season and fourth career goal. Stayart continued her form during the match and secured her second goal in as many matches and has six points on the year.
