A pensioner was attacked in an alleyway while on a morning walk with a dog. Police now want to find a man with "unkempt grey hair" who was walking a large dog.

Police said the 71-year-old was walking her dog at 11am on Saturday, August 16, in Guisborough when she was assaulted. As she passed through the alleyway that runs from Westgate to Patten Lane, next to the Oxfam shop, she was reportedly approached by a man with a large dog.

The man was "verbally abusive" to the woman, then knocked her to the ground. He left the scene with his dog, leaving the woman with a minor injury.
