Stockton man jailed for repeatedly raping boy when he was a teenager

A man has been jailed for raping a boy when he was a teenager. Paul Ferguson was 14-years-old when he raped the boy.

The Stockton man raped and sexually assaulted the boy on numerous occasions over a period of years, a Cleveland Police spokesperson said. On Friday, August 29, Ferguson appeared at Durham Crown Court to be sentenced for three counts of rape of a boy under 16 and two counts of indecent assault of a boy under 14.

A judge jailed the 39-year-old for five years. It was in May 2022 that the victim reported the rape, and over a period of time, gave a detailed account to officers.
