Alabama is licking its wounds following a disappointing season opener at Florida State in Kalen DeBoer's second season in Tuscaloosa, but a Crimson Tide legend is offering a positive outlook on the season.
On Saturday, following the Tide's 31-17 loss to the Seminoles, national championship-winning quarterback Joe Namath initially suggested Alabama was in for a "loooong season."
After some reflection, however, his outlook on his alma mater changed, and he predicted DeBoer would make the changes necessary to get the Crimson Tide back to their winning ways.
