Armed police officers have been pictured in a number of streets in Hardwick . Cleveland Police officers were seen in Coatham Road, Dinsdale Road and Eaglescliffe Court, in Hardwick, on Sunday, August 31.

Photographs from the scenes show half a dozen armed officers in the area as it's understood Cleveland Police was carrying out searches. Witnesses say the officers could be seen entering a number of different properties on the three streets.

Officers were in the area from around 6pm on Sunday. The force has not yet released details of the incident or confirmed if any arrests have been made at this time.
