EXETER — Inside the Exeter High School football locker room, the weight room, on the practice fields and even on the turf field where home games are played, the focus is clear year in and year out for the Blue Hawks.

"We're just trying to become a cohesive unit, and one that cares about each other," Exeter head coach Bill Ball said after a recent practice. "A team that works hard every day ... and (if we do that) everything will take care of itself."
