MINNEAPOLIS — If you didn't get to the Minnesota State Fair this year, now you have a second chance.
The Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) is showcasing crop art from Sept. 6-28. These art pieces started their lives in the spotlight at this year's fairgrounds, and MIA curators chose "Best in Show" winners to show at the museum.
The exhibit will be shown in the Bruce B. Dayton Rotunda with free entry.
If you would like to learn more about the exhibit, local artists will speak about it at a free event called "Cream of the Crop: A Minnesota Folk Art Conversation." It will take place in the Pillsbury Auditorium on Sept. 13 from 2-3 p.m.
