LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Authorities are asking the public for help finding a work-release inmate who reportedly fled custody in Walker.

According to the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Truemaine Samuel, of Ruston, is wanted for simple escape after leaving his assigned work detail on foot at around 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Officials said he fled from Deltak Manufacturing at 39455 John Lanier Road in Walker.

According to the sheriff’s office, Samue was wearing a black sweatshirt with a grey T-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and a black skull cap. He is described as being 5′6″ and weighing around 135 pounds, with short hair.
