FREETOWN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Freetown Police Department said a juvenile was arrested after causing a police pursuit and entering railroad property on Tuesday afternoon.

The juvenile was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle, speeding, stop sign violation, marked lanes violation, and trespassing on railroad property.

According to Freetown police, officers attempted to pull over a dirt bike traveling about 60 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone on East Howland Road around 1:30 p.m.

Police added the vehicle was unregistered and did not have a license plate.
