NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An administrative law judge has ruled that a Mt. Juliet-based security company committed multiple violations for allowing citizen employees to wear police identification.
In a 37-page ruling released late Tuesday, Judge Claudia Padfield issued $64,000 in penalties to Solaren, but also ruled that the company should not have its license revoked or suspended.
The ruling and penalties come following WSMV4’s “Thin Blurred Line” reporting which first exposed how the company was accused of allowing “imposter police officers” to work throughout Nashville.
