NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Cam Ward era will officially begin Sunday when the Tennessee Titans visit the Denver Broncos for the season opener at 3:05 p.m. CT.

Ward, a rookie, is listed as the first-string quarterback on the Titans’ unofficial depth chart.

Tennessee drafted Ward with the first overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. He holds the NCAA Div. I record for career touchdowns with 178.

The Titans hope that production will translate to the NFL, as Ward readies to be the first rookie in franchise history to start a season opener since Marcus Mariota in 2015.
