CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Heavy rain passed through the Midstate Monday, causing flooding in cities.
Among those impacted was Clarksville, where first responders conducted water rescues and closed roadways.
“It was coming down like bullets, man, I can barely see the road,” A Clarksville resident explained.
Clarksville Fire Rescue conducted a water test at Austin Peay State University.

Officials tell WSMV4 a person drove down a flooded roadway and needed assistance.
There were no reports of any injuries. CFR spokesperson, Kodie Jordan, says it’s important to be cautious.
