NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A woman was arrested after shooting at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) on New Year’s Day, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

On the morning of Jan. 1, 2025, police said 26-year-old Tonisha Harris, of Gallatin, fired a gunshot out of the passenger side of a gray Dodge Charger toward DCSO on South Fifth Street.

A Madison precinct patrol officer was able to find a charger matching the description on Creekwood Drive. Police found the car was registered to Harris.

“During a subsequent contact with the car in January on Fain Street, Harris was interviewed,” MNPD said. “She initially told detectives she could not remember much but knew she did not fire a weapon and did not drive the Charger that morning.”
