Isolated storm chances continue across New Mexico through the middle of the week. A surge of monsoon moisture brings nearly statewide chances for rain into the weekend.

Isolated thunderstorms popped up in northern, western, and central New Mexico Tuesday. Some of these storms have brought severe weather and heavy rainfall. A couple showers and storms are still moving through central and eastern New Mexico tonight, but will be ending in the next couple of hours. More isolated storms will return Wednesday afternoon for areas along and south of I-40. Again, heavy rain will be possible out of a few of these storms.
