The RAD Pass, which has provided more than thousands of Allegheny County library card holders free and discounted access to local attractions and museums for the last two summers, is being extended year-round.

The expanded program is called RAD Pass: Year-Round Fun for Everyone, and aims to remove the financial barrier to the county’s cultural institutions. You can see the full list of participating organizations here.

The program kicked off in April 2024 for the summer to provide greater access to the area’s cultural amenities, such as the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium and National Aviary, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh or even concerts by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra or Pittsburgh Opera.
