Nottingham Express Transit tram crosses Wilford Toll Bridge in Nottingham

A section of Nottingham's tram network has been heavily disrupted by a problem with its overhead cables. Nottingham Express Transit (NET), which runs the city's trams , says it currently has no service between the Queens Walk stop and Clifton South terminus as of 9pm on Wednesday, September 3.

This means that the majority of the line from Nottingham train station to Clifton South, which includes stops in Wilford and Clifton, can not be reached. A representative for NET told Nottinghamshire Live that the issue had been caused by an issue with the overhead line at Compton Acres.
