WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — On most days, Williston Rural Fire Protection stays busy fighting fires. But now, they're lighting one up on the grill instead.
The department is teaming up with Williston Basin United Way for a joint barbecue to support both organizations that serve as pillars of the community.
The only smoke coming from the Williston Rural Fire Department on Wednesday was from the grill as dozens of members of the Williston community flocked to the station for their share of grub.
