BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A Severe Freeze Watch has been issued for much of western and south-central North Dakota, including McKenzie, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Mountrail, Oliver, Slope, Stark and Williams counties. The watch was in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning, with temperatures expected to dip as low as 28 degrees in some areas.
High Wind Warnings remain in effect until 9 p.m. CDT Thursday for most counties, with sustained northwest winds reaching 45 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. Slope County remains under a Wind Advisory, with gusts up to 55 mph.
