ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was killed in an overnight shooting in north St. Louis, police say.

According to SLMPD, the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. at Palm Street and Belt Avenue.

A man was pronounced dead as a result.

First Alert 4 is working to learn more about what led up to the shooting.

The HOmicide Unit is investigating at this time.
