A Wayne man accused of holding a gun on a woman and sexually assaulting her in a Detroit park's porta-potty has been charged, officials said.
Wilfredo Figueroa-Berrios, 47, was arraigned Thursday in 36th District Court in Detroit, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said.
He is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to the prosecutor's office.
A magistrate set the defendant's bond at $100,000 and scheduled his next court hearing for Sept. 15. If he posts bond, the magistrate ordered Figueroa-Berrios to wear a GPS tether, have no contact with the victim, and adhere to a 9 p.m. curfew, according to court records and the prosecutor's office.
A bond reduction hearing has also been scheduled for Monday, officials also said.
