PIKE COUNTY, Arkansas — An Arkansas man has been sentenced to 25 years in connection to a deadly shooting incident that happened in Pike County.
Authorities announced that 31-year-old Christian Buster of Delight, Arkansas pleaded no contest to a second degree murder charge related to the shooting death of 34-year-old Oscar Alba.
The deadly incident happened on April 27, 2024 and Arkansas State Police investigated the shooting which happened at Buster's home on Highway 26 East.
Now, Buster has been sentenced to 20 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, with 10 of those years being suspended.
Additionally, authorities said that he received an extra five years for committing the crime with a firearm. Those sentences will be served consecutively.
