LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Tension over a broken car mirror led to the death of a man and the arrest of another in Hot Springs on Wednesday evening.

Officers with the Hot Springs Police Department arrested 45-year-old Cristapher Zuetlau in relation to the death of 47-year-old Michael Mahan.

According to reports, officers were sent to the 4300 block of Central Avenue after the department received a call from Zuetlau, saying he had reportedly shot someone.

Once they arrived at the scene, they found Mahan lying in the road with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

Officers then took Zuetalu into custody, and the Criminal Investigations Division then began an investigation.
