Atlassian is moving into the crowded AI-powered browser market. On Sept. 4, the enterprise software giant announced that it has agreed to acquire The Browser Company in an all-cash deal worth $610 million.
New York-based The Browser Company is the startup behind the Arc and Dia browsers. The deal is expected to close in Atlassian’s fiscal second quarter, ending in December.
The announcement comes just a day after a U.S. court ruled against forcing Google to divest Chrome after finding it held a monopoly in the search market.
