BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Defense attorneys for the convicted owner of Pharaoh's Gentlemen's Club are hinging much of their argument for an acquittal or new trial on comments made by the jury foreman in a public interview, and contradicting or false testimony by government witnesses.

After a two-month trial last year, and two days after Christmas, the jury found club owner Peter Gerace guilty of eight crimes, including sex and drug trafficking.

Three months later, the jury foreman's comments in a public interview broadcast on a local television station became a key element of Gerace's motion for acquittal or a new trial.
