BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — At least four adults were displaced after a fire broke late Friday night and caused nearly $700,000 in damage to three homes on Buffalo's East side, according to city officials.

Fire crews responded to 171 Victoria Ave. Friday night where the fire started on the second floor. The fire then spread to two neighboring structures - 169 Victoria Ave. and 175 Victoria Ave.

An estimated total of $450,000 of damage was done to the three structures - with an estimate of $240,000 of damages for the contents inside.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
