BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A 21-year-old man could spend life in prison after being convicted of rape and multiple counts of predatory sexual assault among other charges, the Niagara County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday.

Alexander Bryant was convicted of first-degree predatory sexual assault and criminal sexual act, first-degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon following two separate incidents in the fall of 2023, officials said.

Officials said women "were walking alone [when they] were abducted at gunpoint, forced into alleyways behind businesses, and sexually assaulted."

Bryant faces up to 90 years to life in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 30.
