POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) -- The latest group trying to save the Poland Library Branch has been busy the last couple of weeks.

On Tuesday, members of the "Poland Library Citizens Group" picked up support in the form of a resolution from the Village Council. Chris Graff sits on the council and is a member of this group.

"To show that this is our community and we care very much about the building and the library," Graff said.

Executives with the Public Library say the ground beneath the southeast side of the building is heaving up and causing damage inside the bookstore area, as well as to the pergola in the back. Administrators have proposed three options: repairing the damage, making the needed repairs and renovating the interior, or moving the entire branch to a new location.
