MOUNT DESERT, Maine (WABI) - A Mount Desert man will serve five years behind bars for arson.
According to the Ellsworth American, 59-year-old Glenn Stanley was sentenced on August 28th.
Stanley pleaded guilty to arson, attempted arson, and aggravated criminal mischief a week earlier.
Stanley had been arrested by the Fire Marshal’s Office in April of last year.
Officials say Stanley set fire to two homes on Stanley Mountain Road in Mount Desert.
Police said Stanley had intended to destroy both homes.
Nobody was hurt in either fire.
