HUEYTOWN, Ala. —

Police were still searching for a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting Thursday in Hueytown.

According to the Hueytown Police Department, officers were dispatched to investigate a shooting on Robin Street just before 6 p.m.

Officers found a woman with a gunshot wound at a residence.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hueytown police said the victim and the suspect are related and this appears to be a domestic incident.
