INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will not return for the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season, according to an announcement by the team.

Clark has been out since July 15 after injuring her right groin during a game against the Connecticut Sun and later suffering a bone bruise.

Clark also shared the news in a post on social media . It said in part, " I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there, disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling. I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty," Clark wrote.
