ZAPATA COUNTY, Tex. (KGNS) - The Zapata County Sheriff’s Office carried out a search warrant, resulting in a significant seizure of drugs and weapons in Siesta Shores.

On Thursday, September 4, the Narcotics Division of the office, with support from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5300 block of Victoria Lane in Siesta Shores.

During the search, investigators discovered and seized 4.92 grams of methamphetamine, several Xanax pills, a rifle, a handgun and a flamethrower. Authorities state that the narcotics and firearms will undergo further analysis as part of the investigation.
