Construction is underway on a new cycleway through Juniper Park in Coventry , forming part of the wider Eastern Green development. Coventry City Council says the project – which includes hundreds of new homes and commercial units – is "making good progress".
The scheme will feature a 3m-wide cycle track alongside a 2m pedestrian path, creating safer, greener routes across the area. Kerbing works between Parkhill Drive and Woodridge Avenue have already been completed, with the final stretch near the development boundary now surfaced.
Drainage upgrades have also been carried out, and the council has confirmed that existing trees will remain in place. The current crossing on Woodridge Avenue will also be improved as part of the works.
