MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — First United Bank & Trust broke ground on a new office in the Morgantown area, announcing plans to move its Star City branch to the WestRidge development off Interstate 79.
Carissa Rodeheaver, CEO and president of First United, said the move is an expansion.
“We’re not just moving — we’re growing,” Rodeheaver said. “This new space will allow us to better serve our customers while maintaining the same great service and the same great staff our Star City customers know and trust.”
The bank said the relocation was driven by traffic changes that have made the current Star City location less accessible. The new office is expected to be completed by this December.
Customers can continue to use the current Star City office until the new branch opens.
