NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Frozen vegetables sold at grocery stores in Connecticut have been recalled due to possible listeria contamination, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The product is made by Endico Potatoes of Mount Vernon, New York. Affected products include bags of mixed peas and carrots with the use by date of June 10, 2027 and mixed vegetables with the use by date of June 16, 2027.

Listeria can cause symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea in infected persons. It can also cause marriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
