A 22 year old woman who vanished during a jet-ski excursion has tragically been discovered dead following days of intensive searching.

Jaqueline Barbosa Nascimento, who was unable to swim, went missing in the water on Sunday (August 31) afternoon.

Her body was retrieved on Wednesday, September 3, following a search operation involving boats and divers.

Whilst her death initially seemed accidental, police have now reportedly classified it as "suspicious".
