Cone Elementary dismissed at noon Friday because of a major plumbing issue that requires the school's power to be turned off, according to a notice from Guilford County Schools.

Students will receive lunch before dismissal.

Buses will begin to depart at noon, and staff will remain on site until all students have been picked up.

The district expects the school for reopen on Monday, according to Gabrielle Brown, a spokesperson for the district.
