OHIO CO., Ind. (WFIE) - In Ohio County, the NTSB released its final report into the deadly 2023 Whitesville plane crash.

The crash happened late at night on September 27 as the plane was going from Bowling Green to Owensboro.

According to the NTSB, the cause of the crash was ruled to be ‘flight instructor error.’

Officials say during the flight, severe storms were moving through that part of the Tri-State.

According to the report, the storms caused the plane to break apart in the air and crash.
