GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week's featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two dogs: a mellow, social 7-year-old and a sweet 4-year-old who has been waiting patiently for a home.
When you walk into the shelter, Trudee will be one of the first dogs you see. She's the designated "greeter," KCAS Director Angela Hollinshead told News 8.
"She is right now hanging out behind our front desk," Hollinshead explained. "The kennel is a little stressful for Trudee. She's a really nice, gentle 7-year-old dog."
The American Staffordshire terrier loves riding in the car and eating treats. She's mellow, smart and very social — Trudee would do best with a family who could spend lots of time with her.
