A new series 9 liquor store license is being sought for GJ Liquors, a Mesa convenience store with a gas station.

The Mesa City Council at a meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at 20 E. Main St., is slated to make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control for GJ Liquors LLC, 753 W. Broadway Road.

There is no existing license at this location.
