A caring couple were tragically found brutally murdered, before police made a shocking discovery.
Robin Carre, an education consultant and a stay-at-home dad to his three children, was found dead in a ditch on the grounds of the University of Wisconsin, by a jogger on March 31, 2020.
His wife, Dr Beth Potter, a physician at the university clinic, was barely alive beside him, and was rushed to hospital but sadly couldn't be saved.
The brutal discovery shocked and appalled the local community.
Police believed the couple - who appeared to have been abducted from their bed as Robin was in his underwear and Beth in her pyjamas - were shot at point blank range in the ditch.
