LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — During Friday night's special-called meeting for the Fayette County Board of Education, public comment took center stage.
Retired educator Deborah Gerth took to the podium to speak to the board at the Sept. 5 meeting.
"You have lost my support. And when you lose support from people like me, you are in trouble," she said.
Mark Russell, another retired teacher, added, "Let me be clear here, it is the Fayette County Public School Administration, not the schools themselves, that is losing the public's trust."
