One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, according to police.

Denver Police Department officers were first called to the area of West 14th Avenue and North Lipan Street for a shooting , the agency said on social media at 12:53 a.m. Investigators later found the victim was hit by a driver who fled the scene.

The victim died at the scene, police said.
