NEW ORLEANS —

Thousands of runners hit the pavement in New Orleans for the Saints 5K race Saturday morning.

The race began at Champion Square and finished on the 50-yard line inside the Superdome. Advertisement

The New Orleans Saints will kick off their regular season against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome at noon.
