Lee Anderson bows to delegates at the Reform UK party conference

"I'm on the side of you guys". Not the words I was expecting to hear at Reform UK's party conference.

Covering Reform's conference whilst its Nottinghamshire County Council leadership continues to ban Nottinghamshire Live may on paper appear a strange choice. Many have argued since the ban was announced that we should react by simply refusing to cover anything Reform does or says.

Yet the whole point of the relentless coverage we have given to the ban, much to the chagrin of many, has not simply been to kick up a fuss without purpose. The point has been to highlight the issue in a bid to get the ban lifted and be able to do our jobs again without any restrictions.
