OLD LYME, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway after a crash in Old Lyme on Sunday morning.

Troopers were called to the area of Mile River Road after a report of a two-vehicle crash, state police said.

Serious injuries have been reported.

Road closed signs and cones are blocking traffic on Mile River Road. Several police cruisers are displaying their emergency lights further down the road.

The closure starts right at Overbrook Road and goes all the way to Route 1.

No further details were released.
